My research interests sit at the intersection of feminist international relations, critical peace and conflict studies, and border studies. In a broad sense, I mobilise feminist and other critical perspectives in International Studies to examine the interrelated issues of war, peace, and security. My research has developed along these interrelated areas of inquiry:

  • The Everyday, Affect and Aesthetics in War, Peace and Security
  • Feminism, Intersectionality and Conflict Mediation
  • The Politics of Gender and Feminist Activism in Conflict and Peacebuilding
  • EU Border Politics and Security
